Mets @ Braves....

Both off to a hot (3-0) start in different ways. Mets by an unreal offense and the Braves by good pitching. The road to taking back the NL East starts tonight. I am going to kick back, enjoy a cold one, and watch the Bravos whip up on the Mets. Expect a big game from Andruw Jones and Jeff Francouer.

After taking one look at the whole Mets lineup, we may be finishing second this year hoping for a wild card birth. My goodness at least 6-7 All-Stars in the starting lineup.

Yeah, the Brewers are good...... Just Kiddin, The luck that the Cubs have had over the past few years is ridiculous. It seems like every year 1-2 starters go down with a season ending injury. Must be something in the water in Chicago.

We will see if good ole' Lou can turn them around. I just hope that Mark Prior or Kerry Wood can actually make it through a full season.

Prior and Wood are washed up. I still have their SI covers up on my Wall of Fame, but I have no hope of either ever returning to their best.

Lou is fresh meat. I like the changes he has made with the team. The last couple of years with Dusty have been miserable. I had faith in him after 2003, but he did nothing but sit in that dugout and chew on his toothpick and wear his stupid looking arm bands.

I agree, he had plenty of talent and couldn't produce..... The toothpick and armband crack was [censored] hilarious.

He was just a pisspoor judge of talent. He didn't want to use young players. He would rather have an old shitbag like Neifi Perez out there than try to help out a young player and give him field time.

I'm honestly surprised that Ronny Cedeno, Ryan Theriot, and Matt Murton survived last year with Dusty.

That is my only problem with Lou is that he isn't giving Murton a good chance in LF. Murton put up decent numbers last year given the situation with Baker. He did get the OD start this week, but Floyd has played left the last two days.

Pisspoor judge of talent and notorious for overworking his starting pitching. Wish that dumb old [censored] would go away and never come back.

The [censored] Braves have blown this one. The Mets may just go 162-0 this year. Unbeleivable talent on that squad. There is no way on Gods green earth that the Mets don't win the NL East again. They are toooooooooo loaded. At least I was right about Francouer he has the only run production on the night and the Mets are whipping the Bravos [censored] tonight. I should have never spoke a word and jinxed them.
